Did you know that the Family Museum is home to a comprehensive dance program?  Year-long classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, and pointe are offered for students aged three through adult, as well as seasonal drop-in dance classes designed for families to enjoy cooperatively. At the Family Museum, we strive to educate and inspire our students with a life-long love of dance as a performing art. Family Museum dancers learn how to dance while building self-esteem and having fun in our unique, recreational environment. Our program provides all children with a creative outlet though dance.

The LimeLight Dance Company is a non-competitive performing company for Family Museum Dancers who are interested in extra training and performing opportunities.  The LimeLight dancers are an integral part of our dance program and serve as role models for our young dance students through their performances and volunteer work.  Dancers interested in performing with the company must be at least 10 years old and taking a minimum of 3 dance classes each week at the Family Museum, one of which must be ballet.  Membership in the LimeLight Dance Company is free thanks to the generous support of the Family Museum Foundation.
