Monday, March 12
Colorful India Day with the Kalanjali Dance Academy 
10:30 am and 1:00 pm: Interactive Dance Performances
11:15 am - 1:00 pm: Activities

India’s Festival of Color is in March and we’re celebrating with beautiful dance performances and colorful activities!  Watch a traditional Indian dance performance by the Kalanjali dancers, learn some steps, and take part in the dance too!  In between performances, help us add color to a giant mandala and get a henna tattoo! Robot Day!

Koo Koo Kanga Roo

Fasten your fanny packs and catch Koo Koo Kanga Roo’s special St. Patrick’s Day performance! Koo Koo Kanga Roo is the dance-a-long comedy show from Bryan and Neil, two friends who set out to experiment with live music and make it more fun. Sink or Float?

Float on over to the Family Museum for a day boat-building fun!  Join our Rain Gutter Regatta and make the perfect sail so your boat can glide down the gutter and see what it take to make a tin boat float!

PAW Patrol on the Scene!
10:00 am - Noon:

Meet police officers and firefighters from the City of Bettendorf and take a look at their squad car and fire engine.

Make your own PAW Patrol Badge to Wear!
1:15 - 2:00 pm:
Meet Chase from PAW Patrol and have your picture taken!

Friday, March 23
Build and Drop with the U.S. Army Picatinny STEM Team
1:00 - 2:00 pm

Whether bringing soldiers and supplies to the battlefield or delivering humanitarian aid to those in need, the Army must safely and accurately deliver. The Build and Drop activity provides the experience of this challenge. Build a carrier for a toy soldier and try to land it safely on target. Didn't make it the first time? Modify the carrier, the parachute, or the drop spot from the second floor of the museum. This fun activity encourages kids to think about basic principles in physics, and gives some exposure to the design and problem solving experiences common throughout STEM fields.

Family Luau with Aloha Chicago
11:00 am: Interactive Dance Performance
12:00 - 12:15: Photos with Performers

If you’ve dreamed of sailing away with Moana, you’ll love this interactive family luau that will feature dances from the Polynesian Islands!  Aloha Chicago’s hula dancers and drummer will get the audience in the island spirit with exciting music, hula lessons, and dazzling costume changes!  Be sure to stick around after the show to have your photo taken with the hula dancers!
