The purpose of the Family Museum Foundation is to provide a vehicle to encourage private gifts and contributions to support those educational programs and services provided to the community by the Family Museum. The newest initiative of the Foundation and its board is the "First Place for First Grade" campaign. Launched in November of 2009, this program is designed to secure funding to cover admission and transportation costs to enable all Quad City Area first grade students to visit the Museum at no cost.

Additional fund development activities of the Family Museum Foundation include an annual fundraiser, operation of the Fox & Bee gift shop, Birdies for Charity, memorials, and planned gifts.

The Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of three individuals who oversee the programs and services of the foundation.

Individuals interested in learning more about the Family Museum Foundation Board of Directors and serving in that capacity are encouraged to contact the Museum at (563) 344-4106.
