Your donation supports hands-on, child-driven learning experiences and exhibits at the Family Museum. It will provide children and families with a safe, fun place to explore together.
Use recycled items, glue guns, tape, scissors, paint, markers, crayons, and clay! Work at our work benches with real tools. It’s all up to your imagination! Adults must stay with children at all times.
The Family Museum will open its doors after hours for an exclusive event for families with children who have sensory needs. To keep crowds to a minimum, tickets will be limited to the first 100 participants. Siblings are invited to take part in this event as well! Tickets will be available at the Family Museum starting March 12. Family Museum members are free, but they must have a ticket to enter. Therapy dogs from the Quad Cities Canine Assistance Network will stop by for a visit! The Family Museum has earned certification as a Certified Autism Center! This designation given by IBCCES is awarded to organizations who have completed a training and review process to better serve individuals with sensory needs.
