School of Fish Concert

4:00pm - 4:30pm

Concert is free and open to the public. If you want to go inside the Museum galleries, you will have to pay standard admission prices.
Singer-songwriters Cynthia Haring and Katia Valdeos will perform songs from their new children’s album, School of Fish, celebrating the protection of our Earth, peace, good health, friendship, and even the dream of being a mermaid! Cynthia and Katia will invite young audience members to participate in singing, “song line sharing,” and dancing to the music. They will also bring ethnic instruments including the Peruvian box drum and rain sticks from Katia’s native country, Peru. CDs will be available for purchase during the event with the proceeds going toward the Caryl Haring Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Haring Valdeos Fund for Social Justice.
